Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Amifie.
If your local laws require a higher minimum age, that age applies.
Your Account
You agree to:
Provide accurate information
Keep your password secure
Not impersonate others
Not share your account
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your activity threatens the safety or integrity of the platform.
User Generated Content
3.1 Your Rights
You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, posts, comments, etc.).
3.2 License to Us
By posting content, you grant us a license to:
Display
Host
Reproduce
Distribute
Modify (for formatting only)
…your content within the Amifie platform, solely to operate and improve the service.
We do not claim ownership of your content outside the platform.
3.3 Responsibility
You are responsible for all content you upload.
You confirm that:
You own the rights to the content
It does not violate laws or infringe rights
It is not harmful, abusive, or misleading
We may remove content at our discretion.
3.4 Prohibited Content and Conduct
Users are strictly prohibited from posting, uploading, sharing, or otherwise making available any content or engaging in any behavior that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or objectionable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Content that is offensive, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory
Sexually explicit or pornographic content
Content that promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
Defamatory, misleading, or fraudulent content
Content that infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property or privacy rights
Spam, scams, or deceptive practices
Impersonation of any person or organization
Amifie maintains zero tolerance for abusive behavior and objectionable content.
Amifie reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to:
Remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms
Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts that engage in prohibited conduct
Take any other action deemed necessary to protect users and the platform
Users are encouraged to report content or behavior they believe violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
Interactions, Communities & Events
4.1 Events
Amifie is not an event organizer.
We are not responsible for:
The accuracy of event information
Safety at events
Behavior of organizers, attendees, or communities
Offline interactions
You attend events at your own risk.
4.2 Communities
Community owners/admins control rules inside their communities.
Amifie is not responsible for decisions made by community administrators.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
Harass or abuse others
Upload illegal content
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers)
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service
Access data you are not authorized to see
We may take action if you violate these rules, including suspension or content removal.
Disclaimer
Amifie is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
Uptime
Error-free operation
Accuracy of information
Safety at events
Continuous availability of content
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
We are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or harm resulting from events or interactions.
Our total liability is limited to €50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where required, the minimum legal protections apply.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amifie, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or legal fees resulting from:
Your use of the service
Your content
Your interactions at events
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of laws or third-party rights
This clause protects us as founders.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account:
If you violate these Terms
For harmful or unsafe behavior
For legal reasons
At our discretion to protect the platform
You may delete your account at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes must be resolved in Belgian courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary.
Major updates will be communicated inside the app.
